DoSTOR April 30,2008--Quantum FY2009 Chinese Distributor Meeting was held on April 28 to April 29, in the picturesque Mount Omei , Sichuan China. Quantum's channel partners from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan participated the meeting.

Products Quantum offered in China include: tape, tape library, disk-based backup system and data management software, meeting storage need of customers from SMEs to global enterprise groups.

According to Quantum's sales statistics, the traditional library in the proportion of sales has dropped to 50%. Virtual Library (VTL), has begun to enter the growth phase.

It is worth mentioning that the development of Quantum's data management software STORNEXT has been in a high growth period in recent years with an annual growth rate over 100%, accounting for 20% of total sales. In addition, Quantum's products distribution of the working group started to return, and the proportion of providing users with overall solution also greatly improved.
