DoSTOR Aug4,2008--According to IDC's latest report of external disk storage systems for Asia-Pacific region FY2008 Q1, IBM led China external disk storage market with 28.3% market share.

In FY2008 Q1, China external disk storage systems market revenue grew 23.6% year-over-year, reaching 185.51 billion U.S. dollars. IBM led the market with 39.7 % revenue growth and gained 3.3% more market share.

According to IDC's quarterly report tracking, since Q4 FY2005, IBM has been the top one for 10 consecutive quarters in China external disk storage systems market revenue.
