DoSTOR September 1, 2008--The second annual Sino-American CIO Summit will be held in October 24 to 26 in Beijing, China.
The summit will invite CIOs from finance, manufacturing, energy and other sectors of large enterprise of the United States to China, negociate with Chinese CIOs about the management, organization, structure and other issues face to face.
More than 150 CIOs will attend the summit, including Shenzhen Stock Exchange Vice General Manager Wenhua Dai, Bank of Communications CIO Weidong Hou, Tecent Group CIO Xiaoye Xu, BTM founder and president Faisal Hoque, Nissan North America Inc. vice president and CIO Robert Greenberg and so on.
Sessions at this Sino-American Summit will address mission-critical issues faced by CIOs from both countries: security, storage, mobile and wireless, ROI, alignment with business and informatization, and best IT practices in finance, manufacturing, energy, government and other key industries.
The two-day program will include presentations, joint Sino-American panels, live interviews and opportunities for Chinese IT executives to mingle with peers from both sides of the Pacific.
Besides that,2008 CIO1000 investigation report will be released on this summit. Based on the survey to 1000 domestic leading enterprises' CIOs, the report reflects the hotspot that Chinese CIOs pay attention to this year.
