Customer demand:

Henan is a large province who has a population of 98.69 million. Henan Provincial Bureau of Statistics is responsible for the province's statistics and national accounts. They intend to implement a cross-platform data application system to integrate the history and current data, to summary and analysis the data. According to the user's application environment, the urgent need is to create a set of data storage and backup systems to backup the application systems of e-mail, OA, FTP and VOD.

Henan Province Bureau of Statistics uses AS500N to store mails, OA, FTP, and video-on-demand application data, while AS500N also support the NAS-based file backup and video-on-demand. VTL1000 is used to do offline backup with its software.
